I just wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed the Half Vermont Journey this past weekend. It was extremely well run and the scenery was beautiful. One specific example that really impressed me was at an aid station on the bike. I needed some water and grabbed one of the Vermont plastic water bottles. I didn’t get a good look at it but as soon as I grabbed it I thought, “Now how am I supposed to get the plastic wrapper and plastic top off so I can drink??” But I looked down and not only had the tops been removed but the bottle was already open. I couldn’t help smiling. It was so wonderful to know everything was thought of, including what felt like my own personal coach circulating the course reminding us all to eat, drink and have fun. I can’t wait until next year! Thanks again!
